Ignoring those small water leak can lead to paying big bucks. Leakage can add up to gallons of water if you do not address the problem. We have some water conservation tricks to make sure you’re not wasting gallons.

Use Automatic Taps to prevent water leak

Automatic faucets make sure you save water. You can buy them for urinals and showerheads.

Insulate Your Water Heater

You should insulate the first three feet of the heated water pipe. If your water heater is seven years old or older, make sure you wrap it in insulation to retain water heat. And, while we are on the subject of water heaters, when it is time to buy one you should buy the most energy efficient model.

Set Your Water Temperature

You should set your water heater to a reasonable temperature. The water temperature should be only as hot as needed (110 – 120 degrees)  to save energy.
